January Day Eighteen

So yesterday I had my first family shoot of 2017. In Noosa. How divine! I adore that place, and was lucky enough last year to  also have a family session up there at the same time of year. So I made the most of the day and took myself off (with a girlfriend) and we had a day at the beach before the shoot. I had some much required r&r and down time!

Needless to say I don’t have a photo of my girls for the photo a day on this day – I did take plenty of photos, just not of my own people.

So I’m breaking the rules and posting a shot I captured (at the beach at least) on the weekend of my two.

This image just epitomises my girls to me. One, always on the go and looking outwards to someone to play with and talk to. Full of Physical energy she bounds around and is happy in nature. The other is quieter, happy to explore in her own quiet way, taking it all in silently observing. Also happy in nature , and social but needing her down time a little more. Such interesting little people! I find them fascinating and love watching them grow up – as scary and as frustrating as that can be at times.

It never stops amazing me, how different we all are <3
