Brisbane Boys

It was so lovely to be asked to photograph these beautiful brisbane boys. I’ve been photographing them for a little while now and watching the family grow. First as kindy photos then a couple of mini sessions I used to do at some local markets. Then Mumma called to tell me sorry she hadn’t seen me down at kindy because she’d just had their 5th baby boy!

I’ve never met a more calm and lovely Mumma, 5 boys would stretch even the best of friendship but she seems to take it all in her stride and naturally seems over-flowing with love and gratitude – such great energy to be around.

I was wondering how I would capture them all together. But togetherness takes on all shapes and sizes, and capturing them playing and as they are without too much force is so much more authentic to me and creates images that can be looked upon with much more fondness as the years flies by.

They have now moved to the country for a change of scenery and perhaps some more space to raise their rambunctious 5! Perhaps one day I’ll be asked to come and photograph them again as there’s a new family member…..

I love the thought of beauty in Chaos, and I’m sure having 5 beautiful boys there will be plenty of this….
