January Day Twenty Six

Alright, so I need to admit, now that school is back, the whole photo-a-day is a less exciting, especially as my focus is on my girls for the this month of images. I’m trying to slow re-acclimatise myself to spending some time in my office concentrating my my little business, Essence Images…Thank goodness for Miyan, my little bundle of energy and life.
“Mum, you could take a photo of me like this?”
Then nearly half an hour later, we both finally have an image we both like and have had a giggle, and spent some time together. So in it’s own lovely way, taking these images helps me to stop, spend time with my girls, observe how I may normally not observe them everyday and spend some time writing. It’s been lovely mixing up my routine like this. Ending most days reflecting on the day or reflecting on thoughts whirling around my head {with a spot of tennis these past few nights}
Here’s the energiser bunny, who skips from one end of the house to the other, often not resisting to tinkle her fingers on the piano on the way past. She’s getting better at down time, but like me only enjoys it if some kind of exercise, physical activity and socialising has precluded it.
on a side note – I’d love to be able to do this move 😉
