January PAD {Day 20}

Such a gorgeous day today, spending time with our beautiful friends – I truly can’t believe it was just about a year ago to the day, we had a similar day, swimming and laughing but it was right before Ula was re diagnosed with Leukaemia and was not heading home that night but to hospital – where she would basically spend the next 6 months relentlessly undergoing treatment to get all those horrid cancer cells out of her beautiful body – it was some journey….. You can see a little blog post I did here from Ula’s first encounter with sarcoma that saw her femur needing to be removed and replaced. She’s certainly an amazing young woman, so is her mumma and her sister and we always enjoy spending time together, I have so much gratitude for our enduring friendship…
