My Favourite things {Brisbane Family Photographer}

Jess Chia ~ Brisbane Family Photographer  ~ I could hear the click clack of the trains passing by in the backyard as I arrived for this session. Perched up high with a great aspect I got a good vibe about what was going to unfold – granted I have photographed these lovely girls a few times before. But there’s just something special about being invited into a family’s home to capture them. This session was special because these guys had just sold their home and wanted to capture some memories before they moved onto their next Brisbane Chapter.

There seems to be that shift when your babies are’t quite babies anymore and you feel that urge for your family to take  up a little more space, everyone spreads out and grows their wings a little wider. The little people don’t seem to need to be quite on top of you as much anymore and you all feel the pull to assert your identity again, and for the little ones, to begin creating one…..

The other joy about in home sessions is the level of comfort children feel. It’s their kingdom and domain, so all their little nuances and cute  personalities often present themselves and boy is that FUN! Your home doesn’t have to be a show home straight from a magazine. It’s about you, your connection and your loved ones – plain and simple…..
