January Day Four

Childhood Friendships; they come and go and sometimes they stay even though the distance is immense. Reconnecting with friends after having not seen them for 4 years is pretty special. Lots of change has happened, some good and some not so good – but that is the passage of life and letting go of control of our ideas for the future can be the hardest part….

I do hope this connection remains, and our family friendship can continue across the distance of land and times between physical meetings…

January Day Four Photograph – three girls, one frame.

If you’re playing along at home, I’ll be publishing all of my images in black and white. Black and white speaks to my soul so much more often than colour, the contrast of light and dark reminds me of life. And during this month, I’ll try and look harder, search deeper to find snippets of wonder around me.
