January Day Twenty Nine

Late night swims on hot steamy Brisbane Summer nights – bring it summer! I love summer I love the heat…ok maybe I don’t like not been able to sleep at night from the heat, in my lack of air conditioning… but everything else I love!

This image reminds me of what it’s like parenting and how fast my girls have grown up, right in front of my eyes in a blurry haze. I’m waiting for it to slow but it really doesn’t it does it? Perhaps the slow down comes when we stop and pause and become more intentional, who knows, but I do enjoy witnessing the blossoming of these two. 🙂

“We do not grow absolutely, chronologically. We grow sometimes in one dimension, and not in another; unevenly. We grow partially. We are relative. We are mature in one realm, childish in another. The past, present, and future mingle and pull us backward, forward, or fix us in the present. We are made up of layers, cells, constellations.” Anais Nin.
